NEWS:
Chapter I Event 04/26 CANCELED Due to Weather
Due to severe weather in the forecast for tomorrow evening, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the “Beer Barons, Chapter One” event that was scheduled for 5:30 pm tomorrow, Friday, April 26. The safety of our guests is our top priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
All participants registered for “Beer Barons, Chapter One” will be rescheduled for our “Beer Barons, Chapter Two” event on Friday, May 24, 2024. If you are not able to attend “Beer Barons, Chapter Two” on Friday, May 24, please email Joe Shields, Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum Director of Development, at JSHIELDS@BCASTL.ORG to discuss rescheduling your tickets for one of our other Beer Barons events, or if you would like your registration fees refunded.
Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope to see you at one of our other Beer Barons events scheduled for this year.
Barons of Beer & Distilling, Chapters II-IV
We’re celebrating 175 years of St. Louis beer brewing and distilling history with four different events throughout the year! Step back in time with us as we celebrate our resident beer barons with walking tours through the Cemetery, great food, music, and samples of beer, spirits, and wine. Engage with experts from local breweries and distilleries about techniques of their trades and gain a deeper appreciation of their time-honored craft.
Each chapter will unlock fascinating stories of barons of beer and distilling while you immerse yourself in the amazing surroundings of this historic Cemetery and Arboretum. Barons such as Otto Stifel, Tony Faust, John Endres, Eberhard Anheuser and Adolphus Busch, David Nicholson, and Samuel McCartney are just a few we will be featuring through the now three-chapter story.
Tickets are $30 per person per event. Buy tickets now!
