Beer Barons returns to Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. More than just a tasting, this is an immersive experience where you’ll stroll the grounds of the first historic Garden Cemetery west of the Mississippi, sample a curated selection of exceptional brews, spirits, and wines. Exciting enhancements are underway at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Friends of Bellefontaine! Prepare to enjoy revitalized historic spaces, including the Amaranth House and Gatehouse, Hawthorn Gatehouse, and Hotchkiss Chapel, all undergoing comprehensive refurbishment to offer versatile educational and community spaces, along with much-needed accessible restrooms, with anticipated completion this summer. Additionally, new and expanded historic interpretive trails, including an accessible option, are being installed to enrich our programming in history, horticulture, and nature, offering engaging experiences for all our visitors.
