NEWS:
Barons of Beer & Distilling, Chapters I-IV
We’re celebrating 175 years of St. Louis beer brewing and distilling history with four different events throughout the year! Step back in time with us as we celebrate our resident beer barons with walking tours through the Cemetery, great food, music, and samples of beer, spirits, and wine. Engage with experts from local breweries and distilleries about techniques of their trades and gain a deeper appreciation of their time-honored craft.
Each chapter will unlock fascinating stories of barons of beer and distilling while you immerse yourself in the amazing surroundings of this historic Cemetery and Arboretum. Barons such as Otto Stifel, Tony Faust, John Endres, Eberhard Anheuser and Adolphus Busch, David Nicholson, and Samuel McCartney are just a few we will be featuring through the four-chapter story. “Beer Barons, Chapter I: The Beginning” kicks off our 2024 celebration on Friday, April 26. This event highlights some of the earliest brewers and distillers who made St. Louis a brewing and distilling powerhouse of the 19th century.
Tickets are $30 per person per event. Buy tickets now!
