Join us for our first of four Barons of Beer and Distilling 2024 events!
CHAPTER I: WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Celebrate 175 years of St. Louis beer brewing and distilling history with four events throughout the year. “Beer Barons Chapter I – The Beginning (Where It All Began)” kicks off our yearlong celebration on Friday, April 26, and this event highlights some of the earliest brewers and distillers that made St. Louis a brewing and distilling powerhouse of the 19th century. Barons highlighted at this event are Ignatz & Joseph Uhrig, Otto Stifel, Julius Winkelmeyer, Edward Hempstead, and John Endres.
Step back in with time with us as we celebrate our resident barons with walking tours though the Cemetery, great food, music, and samples of beer, spirits, and wine. Engage with experts from local breweries and distilleries about time honored techniques of their trades and gain a deeper appreciation of their time-honored craft.
We hope you join us for this unforgettable historic event at St. Louis’s only grand historic rural cemetery of the 19th century, and Missouri’s only Level III Arboretum.
Tickets are $30 per person.
