African American History Trolley Tour

This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday February 18

10:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

Master Guides will lead a 2-hour trolley tour weaving the stories of intriguing figures in African American History with highlights of the cemetery grounds and monuments.

Seating is limited and reservations are required.

We ask that everyone arrive between 9:30 am and 9:45 am for a prompt 10:00 am departure.

The trolley is climate controlled but weather-appropriate clothing is suggested as opportunities to disembark from the vehicle are available.

There is a limit of 4 RSVP per registering individual. For groups larger than 4, we suggest setting up a private tour.  Call the cemetery office at 314-381-0750 and we will connect you to our tour manager.

Choose from one of the two options below:

  • a free trolley tour ticket
  • or choose to make a $5 donation with your free trolley tour tickets.

You may also make a donation at the event. Your donations allow us to cover trolley expenses. Proceeds support the Friends of Bellefontaine and benefit the Cemetery's community support programs like Angels Rest, historic preservation, and educational tours.
