2021 marks our Historic Beer Barons Tour's tenth year!
Last year our virtual tour allowed our far away Friends an opportunity to join the celebration. The virtual tour returns in 2021. You can support the cemetery's conservation, education, and community programming efforts with a purchase of the Tenth Anniversary Virtual Tour for $20.
The final resting places of many of the early St. Louis beer barons such as Uhrig, Lemp, Wainwright, Anheuser, Busch, and Griesedieck can be found at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Their monuments speak of family fortunes won and lost and how legacies intertwined as breweries merged, burned, closed, and re-opened. We have created this event to share their stories and celebrate the new and emerging craft beer movement in our community.
